Jay Jordan is a versatile professional with three years of real estate acquisition and investment experience. His primary responsibility within the firm is investment origination and management. Mr. Jordan assumes a leadership role with regard to the firm’s extensive interests in Northwest Arkansas. He also serves the firm in an in-house legal and accounting oversight capacity. Past experience includes serving as general counsel of a commercial property and hotel investment company. During the two years prior to his joining Stonehill-PRM, Mr. Jordan focused his efforts in sourcing opportunistic investments and arranging the financing (debt and equity) to close these transactions. The majority of this investment activity has focused on land where Mr. Jordan has utilized his legal training to create value through the entitlement process.
Mr. Jordan is a licensed attorney and has spent much of his post graduate time working in the legal field. His legal practice has included trial experience in both the commercial and criminal defense practice areas and his transactional experience focused on real estate and corporate finance. After leaving the practice of law, Mr. Jordan spent two years as a financial advisor with Edward Jones and the Private Client division of Merrill Lynch where he was responsible for developing investment strategies for the firm’s high net worth clientele.
Mr. Jordan received a B.S. in History from Iowa State University and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law.
